Every person entering the ARC's facility-based services has a goal of community employment. In our Manufacturing Center, we provide "non-competitve" employment to individuals who work along side of workers without disabilities. Participants are paid for their work on such things as packaging, collating, assembly, and inspection while gaining valuable skills and real-work experiences. Other areas of training include: Enclaves - working offsite with appropriate supervision at various local businesses on various types of jobs such as assembly, janitorial, and similar industrial and commercial work. Social skills - we work to provide training on the various social aspects of successful employment such as; interacting with co-workers and supervisors. Contact: | ||
